Adelaide's Girls Night Out, Roosevelt's Award Season

NOLA? Starting on Monday, June 3, Commander's Palace, SoBou, and Café Adelaide will launch "Happier Hour" to give libation-lovers a break on the old wallet. At Commander's Palace, $20 will get you two appetizers and a cocktail for during the first hour of dinner service daily. And at SoBou and Café Adelaide, "bites" and drinks will be $3-$6 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., every day. [Eaterwire]

Speaking of Cafe Adelaide, their annual Girls Night Out fundraiser, which benefits local charity org Girls First, is next Thursday, June 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. Celebrity guest/funny lady Wanda Sykes will bartend along with mixology mastermind Lu Brow. Drink tickets are $20 – $1000. Ladies who purchase $500/$1000 tix are also invited to a private pre party at 4:30 p.m. [Eaterwire]

QUARTER? All June long, Muriel's Jackson Square chef Gus Martin is offering a special dinner menu in celebration of Louisiana Creole Tomatoes. The 4 course menu is $45/person (dishes also available a la carte), and even includes a creole tomato tarte tatin for dessert. [Eaterwire]
