Judy Walker reports that this year's winners of the juried Fleur de Lis Awards culinary competition at NOWFE are chef Tory McPhail of Commander's Palace (avory category) and Restaurant August's pastry chef Kelly Fields (Sweet category). McPhail wins with his rendition of Jamaican Jerk Pork with Island Paella, Pickled Fruit and Agua Fresca, and Fields wins with her deconstructed/molecular gastronomical wonder Banana Pudding.
