Plans for Morning Call to reopen in a new location? erm, in a glass cube? in the French Quarter are not set in stone, reports Danny Monteverde this week. Morning Call VP Bob Hennessy says a deal with a potential franchisee fell through, and now the site's developer has listed the proposed building at Conti and Decatur/S. Peters as being for lease again. Hennessy says he's still interested in opening a Morning Call there, but needs to find another franchisee, or decide if he wants to operate it himself. [Advocate]
