Kevin Allman reports that Deborah Cotton aka Big Red Cotton is still recovering at Interim LSU Public Hospital after injuries suffered in the Mother's Day shooting, and a fund has been set up to support her as she recovers.Cotton, who is a Gambit contributor and the editor of culture blog New Orleans Good Good, was one of 19 people shot after a gunman opened fire at the Original Big 7 Social Aid & Pleasure Club's annual Mother's Day second line.
