Tomorrow is the start of Bayou Boogaloo, May 17-19, the eco-friendly festival on the banks of Bayou St. John. Jared Zeller, Mothership Foundation prez/Bayou Boogaloo organizer, tells the Mid City Messenger that they use solar panels to offset the electricity costs for the fess (last year's energy bill was only a $150, y'all). This year they're
doubling the number of solar panels at the event in hopes of completely offsetting energy consumption. [MidCityMessenger]
