Last month, Eater broke the news that Magical Elves, the Top Chef production company, was seeking film crew thanks to a Hollywood South Facebook leak. Today, Bravo released a statement saying that yes, in fact , Top Chef: New Orleans is definitely happening.

Bravo Media's "Top Chef," in partnership with the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation and the Louisiana Office of Tourism, are pleased to announce that the new season of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning show will take place in New Orleans. The vibrant food scene of New Orleans will be a welcome addition in the 11th season of the series.

The Times-Pic reports that details of the show's sponsorship agreements ie. how much money New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation and the Louisiana Office of Tourism doled out to have them come to the Big Easy, have not been released.
