tiki4%3A30.jpgWord on the street is that Tiki Tolteca, the new upstairs tiki bar at Felipe's Taqueria in the French Quarter will be opening around May 14. That gives you about two weeks to prepare for bartender/manager Nathan Dalton's amazing drinks. Dalton recently ventured to Peru to learn more about Pisco, and spent part of last summer in Mexico buying dried cochineal beetles, which feed on the same agave plants distilled in mescal and tequila because he is that obsessed with mescal, y'all.
