Eater tipsters report that Le Meritage, the restaurant in the Maison Dupuy is now closed, and a call to the hotel confirms that the restaurant has in fact shuttered. Le Meritage thanked all of their past guests via Facebook on April 17. Their last night of operation as a restaurant was April 13, and now they hope to transition to an event space for parties of 10 or larger.
Bistreaux is now the hotel's only restaurant, as witnessed via their official website, which now only lists Bistreaux. Jason Schwartz took over as new executive chef at The Maison Dupuy Hotel in March, after Le Meritage chef of four years Michael Farrell moved to Grand Cayman.
