Peche, Thursday, 1 p.m.

New, 1 comment

Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Josh Brasted visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, the much-anticipated and newly opened Peche.

Peche just opened on Monday, but Chef Donald Link's new Warehouse District seafood restaurant? with pitmaster extroidinaire/former Herbsaint chef Ryan Prewitt heading up the kitchen? is already killin' it and earning its reputation as one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, openings of 2013. Here, Josh Brasted captures the lunchtime rush on Thursday at 1 p.m. While Link's restaurants Cochon, Herbsaint, and even Butcher have grown to truly iconic status in New Orleans, it appears that Peche with its epic wood fire grill and menu of local and line-caught seafood is quickly following suit. Reservations are strongly recommended.
