The Advocate's Kari Dequine Harden takes a look at the 12th Annual Louisiana Seafood ProStart Student Competition this week. Over $870,000 in scholarships will be awarded to the top three teams today, but unfortunately no schools representing Orleans Parish are in the competition. LRA's vice prez Wendy Waren says they are now rebuilding the program locally post-Katrina, starting with John McDonogh High School and McDonogh 35 College Preparatory High School. [Advocate]
