Check it out, City Park is repping a huge Hogs banner, which means the fifth annual pork competition/charity event has officially reached the big time, y'all. This years Hogs For The Cause is the first event to grace the new Festival Grounds at City Park, March 22-23, and promises to be a fantastic time (for those who like to eat pig), and probably not a huge mud fest this year thanks to the new location. Founders Rene Louapre IV and Becker Hall anticipate about 30,000 attendees this year, and over 80 teams of chefs competing to make the best hog. Plus the addition of an asado dinner with Donald Link and friends.
