There's a new booze blog in town, Open Tab, from New Orleans' cocktail historian Elizabeth Pearce. This week Pearce interviews T. Cole Newton about his path to becoming a kickass bartender and what makes his cocktail dive, Twelve Mile Limit, so unique: "I'm pretty sure we're the only bar I know of in the country that has doberge cake, Texas style barbecue, craft cocktails, and $1 pbr and highlife during happy hour."
