Funky Butt, the former Rampart Street nightclub that was hoping to find a new home at 4716 Freret, is not opening on the bustling dining/nightlife neighborhood afterall. Owner Shanekah Peterson has signed a lease and started construction, but is been unable to meet the terms of the lease for 'personal reasons'.
