The LRA Education Foundation is hosting the 12th Annual Louisiana Seafood ProStart Student Competition, March 5-6, at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Hall A. $872,000 in scholarships will be awarded to students whose teams place in the top three in both culinary and management competitions. The competition showcases culinary/academic talents of high school junior and senior students from 17 schools in Louisiana, and the winning teams will go on to the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore in April.
