Only 17 Days Left to Nominate An Eater Young Gun

Eater is two weeks into Young Gun nominations, and already more than 1,400 submissions have rolled in? but there's still time for all you procrastinators out there. There's about two weeks remaining to nominate that promising youngster you've been thinking about, so come on and do it.

The aim of Young Guns, which launched last year with the inaugural 16-person class, is to identify the most promising up-and-comers in the restaurant and nightlife world, whether they're working as chefs or line cooks, sommeliers or bartenders, restaurateurs or maître d's.

The criteria are simple. Nominees must be under 30 years of age (or have worked in their chosen field for less than five years) and must be currently employed in the hospitality industry in the United States. Though you most likely haven't yet heard their names, they must show extraordinary promise. These kids are the future, those that will soon lead the business but have yet to receive critical attention.

So what are you waiting for? You've got until March 15 to nominate a worthy Young Gun.
