The ABC's nuisance charges against Grits and The Uptowner have been postponed until March, as yesterday's meeting focused on Jimmy's Music Club, a historic music club that's trying to reopen in its seemingly doomed location previously leased to underage nuisance The Frat House. Robert Morris reports that Jimmy's is "employing an unusual legal strategy to get around the temporary ban on new alcohol licenses in the Carrollton area" by basically calling the moratorium illegal.
