Projected Opening: First week of March, 2013
After a winter busy with planning benefits for Chef Quan Tran and cooking for the Baltimore Ravens owner, Steve Bisciotti, during the Super Bowl, it looks like Chef Dominique Macquet is now in the final stages of readying his new mega restaurant.
Located on Magazine between General Pershing and Milan, once it's open Dominique's will be joining a three block stretch that has a number of diverse and awesome restaurants, including Casamento's, Magasin and La Petite Grocery. The restaurant will be three times the size of its former space, and includes two levels of dining, courtyard seating, hydroponic towers, local art, and a 16 seat chefs area. Macquet tells Eater that the restaurant is planning to open on March 5, with soft openings during the coming week.
