The James Beard Foundation has just announced its 2013 Restaurant and Chef Award Semifinalists. The list will be narrowed down to nominees on Monday, March 18th, and the winners will be announced in May 2013 at a gala in New York City. New Orleans makes a decent showing, despite no nod for Pastry Chef, Rising Star Chef (under 30) or Outstanding Restaurateur. Congrats to the following New Orleans' semifinalists:
