Beloved madman/chef/poet Chris Debarr is moving to Portland, Oregon because he's unable to afford health care for his ongoing health issues in Louisiana. On the latest Louisiana Eats program, Debarr tells Poppy Tooker: "To get my knees fixed on Medicaid in Louisiana, I'd have to wait two years if I qualified for Medicaid. Which I don't." [WWNO]
