Times-Pic booze whisperer Laura McKnight reports that the bar team over at Maurepas Foods including bar manager Tony DiMunno, Domenica alum Jason Lee, and NYC transplant Lauren Myerscough are really heating things up lately. The trio, under the tutelage of bartending pro/MF co-owner Brad Smith have just debuted a hot drinks list featuring some real stunners, like a tequila-based Mexican hot chocolate featuring pastry chef's Jessica Stoke's housemade ganache and a nasal-clearing clarified milk punch thanks to a "note of ginger root." While Maurepas Foods isn't open on Wednesdays (sorry, y'all), these drinks are available Thursday-Tuesday after 5 p.m.
