Todd A. Price reports that Besh Steak in Harrah's Casino has announced their new chef du cuisine, Paul Robert, this week. Robert takes over for Todd Pulsinelli, who recently took over at August, after chef Michael Gulotta rather shockingly departed (though on good terms) to work on his upcoming Vietnamese restaurant Mopho, which should open sometime in the next few months in the Delgado/City Park area.
Paul Robert has worked for Besh since 2009, both as a sous chef at August and as an executive sous at Lüke. He also worked under Besh' mentor and former owner of La Provence, the late chef Chris Kerageorgiou.
