MARIGNY/UPTOWN— Sukho Thai is celebrating their 10th anniversary the responsible way, by implementing a sustainability campaign via recycling, composting, installing LEDs, eliminating styrofoam, and the addition of a new on site organic garden. The restaurant is also rolling out new menu items at both locations, and you can check out their Twitter and Facebook feeds for discounts/giveaways and all sorts of anniversary deals. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN— While Frankie & Johnny's is set to reopen under new ownership next week, Todd A. Price reports that the jukebox ain't dere no more. A New Orleans ex-pat purchased it and had it shipped to Massachusetts when the restaurant closed earlier this year: "It arrived at his home loaded with the records that had played hundreds of times at Frankie & Johnny's. Only a few broke on the way to the Northeast." []

ARNAUDVILLE— Cheramie Sonnier reports that Bayou Teche Brewing is partnering with French brewery Brasserie La Bambelle for collaboration brew called Bayoust: "Bayou Teche Brewing's Gar Hatcher, with Louis Michot as a translator, used Skype to coordinate the recipe with the French brewer."
