The clock is ticking down on the fourth annual Eater Awards, and Eater is asking readers to help name the winners. Monday voters picked the top three finalists for Restaurant of the Year: La Petite Grocery, Peche, and Mariza. The poll for Chef of the Year just closed with finalists Justin Devillier, Kristen Essig and Adam Biderman making it out of the close competition.
Now it's time to turn our attention to the restaurant that's So Hot Right Now. These are the restaurants that have only been open about a year or less, and are still attracting mobs, lines out the door, and loads of attention.
Here's how the voting works across the board: Eater editors have named nominees for each of five major categories. Eater readers will vote, narrowing the nominees to three finalists. From those three finalists, the Eater editorial team will select a winner. Ready to play your part? This poll will be open for 24 hours; voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
