3 Potato 4, the Massachusetts-based, space themed, potato-slingin' restaurant that looks an awful lot like Planet Arcade in Toy Story (minus the arcade bit, of course), is now open for business in its new Broadmoor home. Gambit's Megan Braden-Perry reports (and Facebook confirms) that the restaurant is now serving baked potato wedges and homemade sauces and sea salts from its vegan, gluten-free menu. A grand opening was originally scheduled for October 18th from 6:00 pm to 9:00, but it appears that the retro vegan potato joint is now certified open for business seven days a week. 3 Potato 4, a satellite of its northern mothership, joins Laurel Street Bakery (which opened the doors yesterday to its second location) as the unlikely new residents of an multi-building, urban-renewal development in Broadmoor. Space-themed potato restaurant next to a neighborhood bakery? Sounds like the makings of a CBS sitcom.
