Todd A. Price reports that fancypants steakhouse Doris Metropolitan is now open at 620 Chartres Street (formerly the Alpine) in the French Quarter. Owners Ben Eli and Doris Rebi Chia already have two locations in Israel and Costa Rica, so expect a wealth of dishes from the Middle East and even South America, plus beef aplenty from their seasoned chef Shachar Kurgan.
