Baru's owners Edgar Caro and Thomas Peters are planning to open a berled, fried, and barbecued seafood newbie on Magazine, Susan Langenhennig reports. Basin Street Seafood and Spirits will be located in the former Nacho Mama's space by Jazz Fest. They are also adding a lounge to the second floor of Baru, as well as a ceviche bar, also in the spring. [NOLA.com]
