Dooky Chase Seriously Upgrades MSY, Now Open

Feast your eyes on the new Dooky Chase in Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, open just in time for the Super Bowl. Actually, seven new dining concepts in the airport are now open? including Dooky Chase and Ye Olde College Inn? as part of the promised renovations from concessions company Delaware North, in an effort to make our airport not so embarassing, especially when it comes to food. Yesterday, Mayor Mitch Landrieu and friends unveiled the new restaurants. Leah Chase was on even on hand, Susan Langenhennig of the Times-Pic reports, telling the crowd that, "The airport is so important for the image of the city. We have to improve it." No word yet on how the food actually tastes, but based on looks alone, this is a step toward not sucking.
