Chef Edgar Caro of Baru Bistro and Tapas just shared some wonderful news with Eater. After five years as a BYOB restaurant, the much loved Uptown restaurant has finally gotten a liquor license and is now serving cocktails. Their cocktail and wine list has a South American/Spanish flavor, obviously, to pair with their latin-infused tapas menu. Think mojitos, caipirinhas, pisco sours, and the sort. Last year, Eater reported that Baru made renovations to improve their chances of liquor license approval.
