On Tap Event Rescheduled; The Tchoupitoulas Challenge

CITY PARK? Due to the threat of rain, New Orleans On Tap has been rescheduled for a much later date, November 10. The beer-friendly festival at City Park benefits the Louisiana SPCA. [Nola.com]

MANCHAC? Middendorf's is "happy to say that we are on our way back to "normal", whatever that is for you, for us. And with normal comes our fifth annual Oktoberfest menu." UPTOWN? The Times-Pic on the evolution of Creole Creamery's big ass $25 Tchoupitoulas Challenge sundae: The giant confection was created with the idea that families would enjoy it together... Yet within months of the creamery's February 2004 opening, a friend of owner David Bergeron's ate an entire sundae on his own and wanted his name on the wall.
