Lagasses Go Gluten-Free; Hyatt's "Cocktail How-To"

EVERYWHERE? Emeril's daughters, Jilly Lagasse and Jessie Lagasse Swanson, have a new cookbook coming out on October 9, "The Gluten-Free Table: The Lagasse Girls Share Their Favorite Meals." CBD? Vitascope Hall, the sports/media bar in the Hyatt Regency New Orleans is launching a "Cocktail How-To" series, which will teach the common people how to prepare some wildly popular handcrafted cocktails like the pros. The first event is on Thursday, October 4, from 5-6 p.m. [EaterWire]

The mama roux of talk radio/original Slow Food NOLA founder, Poppy Tooker, is the guest at tonight's Goodnight Show with John Calhoun, a new live late-night style talk show (with house band) at Cafe Instabul that looks pretty cool.
