The Uptown Messenger is reporting that on Saturday, an employee at Houston's on the 1700 block of St. Charles was robbed at gunpoint. At approx. 6:38 am, a restaurant manager was in the office when an unidentified man entered through an unlocked back door and pulled out a chrome revolver, demanding the manager open the safe. She complied, according to police, and the man subsequently fled the scene with the restaurant's cash.
