Eater has word that Uptown institution, Upperline, may have suffered some horrible damages during Hurricane Isaac. La Crepe Nanou's Rich Siegel, who lives a block from Upperline, reports on Facebook of potentially devastating damages:

The great Upperline Restaurant had it's roof peeled off. I was told that six inches of water is in the dining room and the classic New Orleans art collection? Please keep your fingers crossed for them.

Brett Anderson reviewed the Upperline just last week, awarding JoAnn Clevenger and Chef David Bridges four beans and a lot of love. No word from Upperline at this time. Their phone line remains busy.
