Huey's 24/7 Diner Closed Temporarily After Small Fire

Huey's 24/7 Diner on Vets isn't shuttering after all. The diner suffered a small kitchen fire, a tipster reports, so they will be closed temporarily to do some renovations. The sign on their door says they hope to reopen by the end of next week.

Last week a tipster alerted Eater that the Huey's 24/7 Diner on Vets had its lights out and an empty parking lot at 8 p.m. on a Thursday night. No word on when the fire actually broke out, but it comes at a rather unfortunate time for owner, Jason Doyle, who has opened and shut down three Huey's 24/7 Diners in the past year.
