Peyton on St. Lawrence, Circle Food Store to Return

Peters Street's new non-touristy gastropub St. Lawrence: "[I]t's good to see a restaurant in that block of St. Peters (sic) that's not devoted to feeding tourists from Omaha food that won't scare them. Which is not to say that the food at St. Lawrence is scary. Because it's not. It's comfort food with an inventive twist."

REBIRTH ? The City of New Orleans has a reached a deal with Dwayne Boudreaux, giving him $1.1 million in loans and grants to help reopen the Circle Food Store on Claiborne Avenue. The store has been closed since Katrina. [CityBusiness]
