With Duke Out, New Basin Canal Restaurant and Market Looking for a New Chef

So it's not going to be called Duke's on the Basin, but Susan Langenhennig gets further confirmation that the seafood market/restaurant/boat dock planned for Lakeshore Drive is still going to happen. Partner Nick Aprodites, who's developing the project with Jack Panno, says that he is currently interviewing chefs and that construction should start next week, weather permitting.

And yeah, it's just as awesomely ambitious as ever: "Plans include a 4,600-square-foot restaurant, a 375-foot fuel dock, a fish market and a boating store."
