Not much detail about this place beyond its name: Breads on Oak will be a bakery on Oak Street, in the space that formerly housed Accardo's hardware store. (Accardo's has moved down the street.) Can't really tell what's going on inside there, but at the very least they've done some serious work outside, adding pretty blue storm shutters and a big, ol' café sign on the wall.

From their website, Breads on Oak is owned by Sean O'Mahony, a graduate of French Pastry School in Chicago. Looks like they'll carry all the regular bakery goods?breads and pastries, plus coffee and espresso drinks?including vegan muffins. There's also an attached guesthouse, the Bakery House.
