Good news for for uptown fans of Satsuma Café: the Bywater breakfast-and-lunch (and, briefly, dinner) spot is opening a second location way uptown. Per a statement on the Facebook:
We are THRILLED to announce that we signed a lease for Satsuma #2! The new location will be on the corner of Maple and Fern Streets! We estimate the opening to be August 2012. We look forward to being closer to all you Uptown folks that make the trek to the Bywater!That is, presumably, the short-lived original location of Aux Folies Riverluna, which was located at Maple and Fern until moving earlier this year.
