The Occasional Wife Store Gets a Food Truck

The Occasional Wife: not just for wives, but definitely for occasions. The organizational and event-planning store has added yet another occasion for which they hope to help. Namely, hunger pangs. The store's owners, Kay Morrison and Ginger Ellis, launched their Wife on Wheels truck last year, using it for road trips, a mobile store front and for parties. Now it's also also serving as a food truck. It debuted over the weekend, serving up comfort food outside of India House in Mid City, catching the post-Jazz Fest crowds. According to the Facebook, while the menu will change, "comfort food" always will be the focus.
