After a brief foray into the postmeridian food serving racket, Satsuma will end its dinner service this week, according to the Times-Pic. The café's dinner menu, which dropped early last November, focused on small plates made from locally-sourced ingredients created by Chef Michael Costantini. Owner Peter Dymond said that he and his wife Cassi decided to put the brakes on dinner because there simply wasn't enough prep space in Satsuma's kitchen to accommodate the increased volume. Dymond hinted, though, that Satsuma dinners could return like the Jedi after the summer.
