Who Burger Pops Up at BJ's in the Bywater

New, 1 comment

This isn't the first burger pop up in town, but it certainly is the newest: chef Brian Alford is slinging gourmet burgers under the Who Burger moniker every Friday at BJ's Lounge in the Bywater. (Tip of the hat to restaurant insider Lorin Gaudin for spotting this.) Alford is a New Orleans native who spent time under Pete Vazquez at Marisol, leaving after Katrina and returning a few months ago to work as chef of the Steamboat Natchez.

Alford tells Eater that the menu of internationally-inspired burgers will change regularly; this week's menu has three options, one of which is the tequila-lime-massa spiked "El Passo." Who Burger first popped up in late April and it's going on every Friday night from 5 p.m. until he sells out of product.
