Local writer person Robert Peyton is a huge fan of René Bajeux, saying he was "giddier than normal" when he found out Bajeux was reopening René Bistrot. The menu is largely the same as the original, but the early word is good: "It's been open a little more than a week at this point, but judging from my one meal at the Bistrot, things seem to be running fairly smoothly."
