This doesn't quite count as Obama Endorsed, but it's pretty cool nonetheless: Café Reconcile graduate Ryan Dalton is heading to the White House to take part in a summit to discuss "community solutions for disconnected youth." According to this week's newsletter sent out by Reconcile director Glen Armantrout, Dalton is one of only three young people selected to address the summit.
Dalton is also competing in the Spark Opportunity Challenge for a project he's created called the P.U.S.H. Project. Information on that (and the chance to vote!) available here.
All of this speaks volumes to the fact that Reconcile, the Central City eatery-cum-job and life skills training program for at-risk youth, is basically the best thing ever.
