Matthew Kopfler Bringing PPX Pop Up to PJ's on Mag

Another day, another pop up: chef and prolific pop up artist Matthew Kopfler has teamed up with PJ's to bring his brand of locally sourced American cooking to the PJ's location on Magazine near Jefferson. The thang's going down next Saturday, May 26, from 6-9 p.m., with tickets available in person at the store. It sounds like this is going to be a regular, or semi-regular, gig, and at least for this person it's pretty much family style, all-you-can-eat for $35.

And Kopfler wrote Eater a little note about the direction PPX is taking as a business. Co-founder (and one of the principles back when PPX started with now-discontinued gigs at F&M's) Tess Monaghan is "pursuing her education," so she's no longer involved, "but the Company moves down a more carnivorous path, whilst still appreciating the vegetables and principles of the local community."
