Hotel Monteleone's Criollo Sets Opening Date

Big news today coming out of the Hotel Monteleone: The French Quarter hotel, home to the ever-popular Carousel Bar, will open its revamped restaurant Criollo later this month. The opening date is now officially set at May 23, right in the middle of the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience. The menu by chef Joe Maynard isn't available yet, but when the project was announced the hotel's reps described the concept as heavy on Louisiana flavors with other African and European influences, with an intense farm-to-table approach.
