Foodies Opens on Julia, Reconcile to Expand Hours

EXPANSIONWIRE? Last night's Rising Stars gala for StarChefs.com featured a charitable cause, with proceeds going towards Central City life and job skills training program Café Reconcile. Reconcile director Glen Armantrout said that there's a chance the café will expand its hours from only serving lunch to opening up for breakfast, lunch and dinner. [EaterWire]

OPENING REPORT? Foodies is a new café featuring coffee, smoothies, salads and other healthy things. Opened last week on the "Julia Row" stretch of townhomes in the Warehouse District, Foodies is no relation to the long-defunct Foodies Kitchen. [Gambit]
