Chef Greg Sonnier scheduled a dinner series called "Fork Full of Flavor" in the old Uptowner reception hall. The chef/owner of the currently-closed Gabrielle has been threatened by the city with "fines or jail time" for violating the city's zoning. (The Uptowner is not zoned as a restaurant.) But Sonnier tells Brett Anderson he's moving ahead with the dinners anyway and will hold the first one this Saturday. We'll see if he ends up in jail on Sunday. [TP]
