POP UPS? Prolific pop up artist Streats McGee has served his last taco at Pal's. After some time running the Mid City bar's Taco Tuesdays, he's now setting up shop in a more permanent home inside the St. Claude Avenue bar Siberia. His food there is going to be "Slavic soul food" from an operation called Kukhnya. The grand opening for Kukhnya is next Saturday, April 7. [Facebook, via @NOLAFoodGoddess]

CRAFT BOOZE? Yeah, that whole Final Four thing is happening. In anticipation of the massive crush of Kaintocks coming down (both University of Kentucky and Louisville are in the thing), several bars are offering Kentucky-made beers. For what it's worth, these include Avenue Pub, Ernst Café, Happy's and others. [TP]

EATER TRACKING? The new restaurant inside the Hotel Monteleone, called Criollo, was due to open this month. That opening has been pushed back a bit by construction delays, with the restaurant now expected to open in May, just in time for the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience. [EaterWire]
