The Pizza Delicious Brick-and-Mortar: It's Coming

The Times-Pic reports that Bywater pizza pop-up Pizza Delicious has found a space for its brick-and-mortar. Owners Michael Friedman and Greg Augarten are finalizing a lease on a warehouse space at 617 Piety Street, by Markey Park. It's a "raw" warehouse, however, so there will be a fairly intensive process of building it out to meet the pizza kitchen's specs. Hence the guys' call for contractor help last year.

On their blog, the guys have been hyping an announcement that was due to come this Friday, so possibly more details will come with that. As it stands now, there's no word on when the new shop will open, but they're still looking at operating six days a week, from 11AM to 11PM. There's going to be a Kickstarter and a fundraiser at Siberia on April 6 to help raise funds for the move.
