The Bourbon Street noise debate continues, with the City Council due to vote on a proposal from Councilwoman Kristin Gisleson-Palmer to eliminate pointing speakers out of doors or windows. Sounds fine enough, though Offbeat's Jan Ramsey points out that the person handling these noise issues on Gisleson-Palmer's staff is a former employee of the attorney leading the noise complaint charge.
