LISTICLES? Tom Fitzmorris doesn't offer a review in this week's CityBusiness (subscription required), instead offering up a list of 12 places to get salmon. Topping the list are Bayona and GW Fins, while it's rounded out by suburban spots Chateau du Lac (in Old Metairie) and Dakota (in Covington). [CB]

FOOD EDUCATION? John McDonogh High School, which has a culinary arts program, may become a full-scale "culinary high school", at least according to basketball analyst Digger Phelps. An announcement is due to be made the weekend of the Final Four, in two weeks.

MORE FOOD EDUCATION? Speaking of culinary schools, Robert Peyton at MyNewOrleans.com wants to know what happened to the Culinary Institute of New Orleans. It closed in 2007, but does anyone know more? If so, leave a comment over there. [MNO]
